Florida, here she comes! 🌴🥋 Rogan is in Florida to compete at the IBJJF Pan Kids Championship! 🌴🥋

We couldn’t be more proud of the athlete and person she has become. Her hard work, discipline, perseverance, and heart have already made her a champion in our eyes.

No matter what happens on the mats this weekend, you’ve already made your Gracie Barra Hayden family proud. Go out there, trust your training, have fun, and leave it all on the mat.

🔺 “You are supposed to struggle. That’s where the growth comes from.”

This can be a hard pill for us to swallow. But there’s so much truth to this statement!

If you have been on the fence about starting Jiu Jitsu, know that it will improve you in ways that you have never imagined!

🥇If you have been toying with the idea of competing, but don’t feel like you are ready…or maybe fear what happens if/when you lose, remember there is more growth in those losses and the ability to handle them with dignity and pull yourself up to try again than there is in the win.

🏆 Both victories and defeats teach valuable lessons when approached with the right mindset. Winning teaches about the rewards of your hard work and preparations, while losing teaches resilience, problem solving and perseverance when things don’t go your way. It is imperative to learn how to handle both victory and loss with grace.

🔥Every day in life you have a decision to make. Will you choose what is easy? Or will you choose to grow?
