I'm a proud Quiz Bowl coach! This week, the Hay Springs Quiz Bowl team finished 2nd in the High School Division and 1st in the Junior High Division at the Panhandle Conference meet. Today, I took a mostly 7th-grade team and competed in the 8th-grade division at the Chadron Invitational. We finished 6th out of 12 teams. However, we had the most points of schools in our class and won 2 out of 3 games, including a win over Chadron, which was in the championship game. I don't know if they won. I'm so proud of our kids!
