After Celine played her song saying all the letter names, I asked her to play it saying skips and steps. She informed me that I hadn't assigned that to her. I said "Oh, that's ok, we can still do it right now!" She said "No, Miss Rebecca, you told me NOT to do them, see?!?"

Here at Miss Rebecca's School of Music Learnin', we don't believe in the 'R' word (Recital). We have Happy-Time Music-Playin' Cookie Parties! Students gather and play songs and eat cookies -- it's great fun for all!

Today, we're having our First-Time Digital Online Zoom Happy-Time-Music-Playin Cookie Party at 2 pm Pacific time. We've been zooming and skyping our lessons for the last 10 weeks and want to show off what we've learned. If you would like to join us, we'd love to have you! Skype/Zoom lessons have been going very well! For the next 2 months, I have plenty of available time slots, if you/your child or anyone you know could use music lessons. Zane was taking too long to learn this song! I told him that at our next lesson, I would record it and post it for everyone to see! He shaped up and played it beautifully. Hmmm...I may continue to use this teaching technique. 😆
