Which spooky subject should we draw in Wednesday's live class?

Vote for your favorite: haunted house, black cat, jack-o-lantern, or a friendly ghost.

Whichever wins, we'll break it down step by step so every kid in class can follow along and finish something they're proud of.

Sticking to one art style might be holding your kid back.

We switch mediums every single week on purpose, so students build a real range of skills instead of getting good at exactly one thing and stalling out.

It also means if one style isn't their favorite, a completely different medium is only a week away.

Save this if you're choosing a creative elective.

One month of lessons turned into this haunted house scene.

She started with basic shapes and flat color. Now she's layering shadows, building depth, and telling a whole story in one picture.

That's what happens when a kid gets steady, structured practice instead of just messing around on an app alone.

Turn a plain tree into something spooky with just a few brush taps.

This week we're teaching texture brushes, layering shadow and light so those bare branches actually feel eerie instead of flat.

Kids learn one new skill at a time, so by Halloween they'll have a whole toolkit of techniques, not just one lucky drawing.

Save this for your next spooky sketch session.

Ever wonder what happens before Wednesday's live class even starts?

Every week Emily picks the medium, sketches the plan, and tests the color palette so kids walk in ready to create, not confused about where to start.

That prep work is why students finish class with something they're proud of, every single time.

Follow along for more behind the scenes.

Looking for a gift the grandkids will actually use?

Digital art class turns screen time into a real skill they'll want to show off, not just another app they forget in a week.

Membership covers the whole family for one low monthly price, with hundreds of recorded classes waiting anytime they want to create.

Blending modes sound complicated until you see them explained the right way.

We tell our students to think of it like layering colored tissue paper. Multiply mode makes colors darker where they overlap, and screen mode makes them lighter, just like holding two sheets of tissue paper up to a window.

Once that clicks, kids start using light and shadow on purpose instead of just guessing at the sliders.

Save this so you can talk your kid through it next time they're stuck.

Watch a group class for five minutes and you'll see it happen.

One student finishes a drawing early and instead of getting bored, they start pointing out what a classmate did well. "I like how you shaded that" or "your colors look really cool together."

That kind of feedback builds confidence on both ends, the kid giving it and the kid receiving it, and it happens naturally every single week in our group lessons.

Book a free trial class and let your kid feel that kind of encouragement firsthand.
