Reading is Fun! Reading helps our scholars build their language skills, learn about our world, and develop empathy and emotional awareness. Reading together also provides an opportunity for teachers and children to connect.

Did you know that Morgan Garrett who was well known for inventing the traffic🚦light received 6 years of education before leaving home at age 14 for Cincinnati where he worked and hired a tutor to continue his education.

Our American history is full of amazing talents and we are here to support all nationalities to become the best in their generation.

Block Play is a fun engaging way to prepare our scholars for their future endeavors. Promoting the development of spatial awareness and developing hand-eye coordination as children reach for, lift, move and build with blocks. Through block play children are encouraged to explore mathematical ideas of area, shape and spatial relationships.

Happy Friday friends, and families of Cann Academy Preschool and Infant Center. The best way our scholars learn is through role play.

During dramatic play our children are learning the various roles we occupy in society. For an example in this picture, you see a child holding a baby. This is demonstrating nature and nurture, our future mother, teacher or aunty is learning how to hold and care for a baby. Our goal is to provide an environment to nurture our future leaders.

Happy New Month friends, and families of Cann Academy Preschool and Infant Center. Do you know that alphabets are the foundation of literacy? The first step in reading doesn’t begin with sounding out letters but identifying letters in its upper case and lower case form.

Using hand eye coordination children are developing a relationship with letters by tracing, decorating, identifying and coloring.

Playing is essential for the growth of our children, as they play they are learning and growing.
