Haworth Elementary Summer School field trip to the Forestry Heritage Center at Beavers Bend.

Haworth 4-H members recently attended 4-H Camp at Beavers Bend, where they spent several days learning, growing, and making memories.

Campers participated in safety-focused educational sessions that taught important life skills while also enjoying outdoor activities including swimming, kayaking, and paddle boating. The fun continued each evening with camp dances, skits, and opportunities to build new friendships with fellow 4-H members from different counties.

The experience provided a great balance of learning, leadership, teamwork, and recreation in the beautiful setting of Beavers Bend State Park.

Haworth 4-H members had a great time and represented our school well! Some of our campers had to leave before the picture to meet other obligations, but rest assured they contributed to the fun and leadership experiences!

More Than $1 Million Invested in Haworth Students

Over the past year, Haworth Public Schools has secured $1,017,142 in grant funding to invest in our students, staff, and community.
These grants are supporting literacy initiatives, STEM and aviation education, Family and Consumer Sciences programs, Agricultural Education, drone and flight training opportunities, and future facility improvements, including our new STEM/Aviation Lab and indoor athletic training facility.

For a small rural district, this level of investment is significant. These resources were secured through competitive grant programs, allowing us to expand opportunities for students without placing additional demands on local taxpayers.

We are grateful to the staff members, grant-writing teams, community partners, and organizations that helped make these opportunities possible. Their hard work is creating lasting benefits for Haworth students and helping prepare them for success in college, careers, and life.

The future is bright at Haworth Public Schools.

High school students: attend with a parent/guardian
Adult students: no parent/guardian required
Choose ONE session:
• July 28 – 2:00 PM
• July 30 – 5:00 PM
• August 5 – 9:00 AM
• August 6 – 5:00 PM

During orientation you will:
• Review student handbook
• Complete required paperwork
• Take ID photo
• Receive class/bus schedule
