Yummy treats tomorrow 🎉

We’re excited to have some fun treats parked at our buildings tomorrow for Back to School Night & Picture Day! It’s going to be a hopping campus!
Stop by the lot by the pool beginning at 3:00 PM and grab a treat from the ice cream truck or enjoy a refreshing dirty soda!

As we get ready to start school, there are a few changes to our morning routine this year. We will not be having outdoor recess in the mornings. Instead, students will each have an assigned space in the gym or field house.

Volleyball – 6:30 PM, Choir Room
Football – 6:30 PM, Theater
Cross Country – 6:30 PM, Aaron Haugen Room (upstairs HS)
No other activity-specific meetings tonight.

Due to some unforeseen circumstances, tonight’s All Activities Meeting has been canceled.
The activity-specific meetings that were scheduled will still take place as planned.
We’ll be in touch soon with information on how we will share important details for the upcoming school year.

Picture Day! 📷

📸 Picture Day for PreK–12th grade students will take place on August 26!
Scherling’s is asking that students have their pictures taken at their regular school building, if possible. If you have students in multiple buildings and can’t make it to both, we kindly ask that you pick up your child’s registration tag from their building before getting pictures taken.

📅 Attached is the schedule for all three of our buildings! Be sure to take note of the bus drop-off order as you look it over.

Just a reminder that our 2026–27 school calendar is officially out! 📆 As you begin planning family vacations, please consider using our scheduled extended breaks. Students thrive with consistent time in the classroom, and we truly appreciate families working with us to support learning and success. 🙌

We’re pretty excited to start something NEW next year for picture day! 📸✨
For the 2026-27 school year, picture day for PreK-12 students will take place during Back-to-School Night! We think this will be a great opportunity for students to have parents there to help make sure hair looks nice — and pictures are taken before a full day of phy ed, recess, and ketchup on shirts 😉
We’ll have TWO cameras set up at each..the elementary, middle school, and high school, so there will be plenty of opportunities to get pictures taken!
Don’t worry if you can’t make it that day — there will also be a makeup picture day on September 24th.
We’re excited for this new change! 🎉
