BKLC is so excited to announce that we received 2nd Place in this year’s Hawkins Oil Festival Parade Float Contest! 🥈🎉

We are so proud of our little Hawks, our amazing staff, and everyone who helped bring our float to life! 💙🦅 Your creativity, hard work, and school spirit truly made this a special day!

A BIG thank you to the Hawkins community for hosting such a wonderful parade and giving us the opportunity to be part of this year’s celebration. We had so much fun celebrating together! ❤️

❤️ Happy Grandparents’ Day from BKLC! ❤️

Today, we’re celebrating some of the most special people in our children’s lives — our grandparents! 👵👴💕

And what better way to celebrate than with a delicious Biscuits & Gravy Breakfast! 🥓🍳🥔🍪

Our breakfast spread is full of love (and plenty of food!) — warm biscuits and gravy, crispy bacon, sausage, seasoned potatoes, and all the fixings. There’s nothing quite like gathering around the table and sharing a good meal together!

We are especially blessed to have so many wonderful grandparents as part of our BKLC family. And today, we’re giving an extra special shout-out to our amazing outgoing Center Director, Mrs. Crissi who is also a proud grandmother! ❤️ What a beautiful connection to our BKLC family!

To all of our BKLC grandparents: thank you for the love, wisdom, laughter, and special memories you bring to our children’s lives. You truly are the best! 💕

🎓 Celebrating Our Pre-K Graduates! 🎓

We are so proud of our amazing Pre-K graduates as they prepare for their next big adventure at Hawkins ISD! Watching each child grow, learn, and gain confidence has been a joy, and we can't wait to celebrate this special milestone with our graduating families during our in-class Pre-K Graduation.

While your little one may be leaving our preschool classroom, they don't have to leave the Barnyard Kids Learning Center family! We offer after-school care with transportation from Hawkins ISD to Barnyard Kids Learning Center, providing a safe, fun, and familiar place for your child each afternoon.

If your child will be attending Hawkins ISD this fall, now is the perfect time to reserve their after-school spot. By enrolling today, you can ensure a smooth transition into the new school year while your child continues building friendships and enjoying the caring environment they've come to know and love.

Ms. Brenna Burks
Teacher of the Month!

Ms. Burks is always dependable, showing up every day with a positive attitude and a willingness to help wherever she’s needed. She is wonderful with our toddlers and is always ready to step in, fill in, and support her team.

Her love for working with children shines through in everything she does.

Outside the classroom, Brenna enjoys spending time with her family, loves dogs, and was very active in FFA while also helping in preschools. We are so thankful to have her as part of the Barnyard Kids family. Congratulations, Brenna — this recognition is well deserved!
