Teaching the community how to live a sustainable country farm life in paradise, as well as provide a venue for community activities. Kahuku Ahupua’a Farm and Retreat is located on the Big Island of Hawaii on the southern district of Kau! The farm also known as “The Terraces” is focused on growing fresh organic produce, fruits and locally sourced products like freshly caught ocean fish. The goal is to live green, producing a minimal global footprint, utilizing best farming practices, creating renewable resources while enjoying a sustainable rural country lifestyle. The extent of the farm goes beyond just farming, incorporating community involvement through educational seminars and special events.

Thank you Ty for your dedication to our Kau community! The avocado grafting class was a great success and lots of fun. All master gardeners classes at our farm are presented free of charge as part of the master gardeners program mission of community educational outreach. Ty also does field grafting for a nominal fee which the proceeds will go towards our local seed program. Thank you for all your interest and support.
