College/AVID Wednesday: Our students have a bright future. Let's celebrate that by wearing a college or AVID shirt on Wednesdays.

We are almost done with our first week of school. Our students have been doing a fantastic job modeling our SOAR behavioral expectations. I can't wait to see them learn and grow this school year.

Our first day of school was a success! Thank you to all the staff, students, and parents who made today such a wonderful day. A special thank you to Dr. Ricardo Lois and Board Member Noyola for coming to support the Hawaiian Elementary School community this morning!
¡Nuestro primer día de clases fue un éxito! Gracias a todo el personal, estudiantes y padres que hicieron de hoy un día tan maravilloso. ¡Un agradecimiento especial al Dr. Ricardo Lois y al miembro de la junta directiva Sr. Noyola por venir a apoyar a la comunidad de la Escuela Primaria Hawaiian esta mañana!

Estamos emocionados de verlos a todos mañana para nuestro primer día de clases. Algunas notas sobre nuestros procedimientos del primer día:

✸ El desayuno se servirá de 7:00 a. m. a 7:30 a. m. (solo los estudiantes podrán ingresar al MPR)
✸ Los padres podrán estar en el campus el primer día de clases para una reunión corta en las mesas de almuerzo que se llevará a cabo a las 7:45 a. m. Después del primer día, volveremos a ser un campus cerrado y solo los estudiantes podrán estar en el lugar durante la mañana.
✸ Las camisetas de School Spirit se venderán durante la entrega de la mañana por $ 10
✸ ABC Excels (programa extracurricular) tendrá una mesa de información para ayudar a los padres con la inscripción y responder cualquier pregunta sobre las ofertas del programa.

We are excited to see everyone tomorrow for our first day of school. A few notes on our first-day procedures:

✸ Breakfast will be served from 7:00- 7:30 AM (only students will be allowed in the MPR)
✸ Parents will be allowed on campus on the first day of school for a short assembly at the lunch tables that will take place at 7:45 AM. After the first day, we will again be a closed campus and only students will be allowed on-site during morning drop-off.
✸ School Spirit t-shirts will be sold during morning drop-off for $10
✸ ABC Excels (after-school program) will have an information table to assist parents with registration and answer any questions regarding the program's offerings.
