Native American Week is coming up! Join the Sweetgrass Society in celebrating and participating in our themed days.

On Tuesday, September 22, we are having a Tipi Raising Event in preparation of Native American Heritage Day on September 25th! Come visit and learn from Terry Brockie with us at 4 PM on the East Sub Lawn.

And just like that, the 49th Annual Sweetgrass Society Powwow has successfully concluded!

The committee would like to extend a big, big thank you to all volunteers, supporters, and donors to this year’s celebration. We cannot express enough gratitude to our host drum, Southern Cree, for providing great vibes and even better songs, Walter Runsabove, our AD, Kasey Nicholson, our MC, and Vince with Powwow Network for providing sound.

Please be on the look out for information for our Half A Century Celebration in 2027. Aho!
