April blessings, dear ones. ❤️

We begin this month with some loving words to welcome in the gifts of April:

May the warm sun rise in our souls and illuminate the precious nature of life.

May the gentle winds of change blow through our uncertainty and remind us that we are beings of infinite possibility.

May the newness of spring awaken our hearts with love, peace and the hope of new beginnings.

✨ May our prayers rise together for all those who need light today.

With love, peace and April blessings, xo Mary ❤️

This post reflects my approach to yoga practice and teaching. I believe that consistent practice helps us understand ourselves better. Yoga becomes more than just an activity; it transforms into an opportunity for personal growth and learning.

When we are young, yoga often feels effortless.
We jump. We move quickly. Flexibility is available without asking.

✨ But with maturity, practice asks for something far more valuable than speed: sensitivity.
As taught by Geeta Iyengar, this is the true turning point.
Yoga is not measured by how fast you enter a pose,
but by how deeply you pe*****te it with awareness.

When the body resists, the solution is not force.
It is intelligence.

Use the wall.
Use props.
Allow yourself to slow down.

But never lose the internal action:
• Extend with consciousness
• Observe with patience
• Pe*****te with awareness

In this way, practice evolves— from movement of the body into education of the mind and wisdom of the self.

💬 Have you noticed your practice becoming slower—but deeper? Share your experience below.
💬 Comment SENSITIVE if you’ve experienced this evolution.
