Thank you so much to the Haviland Community that showed up today for our Fall
Fest Fun Run! It was a blast ❤️ if you have any pictures from the race, we’d love to see them. Put them in the comments below! If you haven’t made it out to the Fall Festival at the Thresher Grounds, games, rides, a dog show, crafts, Mock N Roll, and more will be there until around 2:00pm. Go out and enjoy this nice weather!

Tomorrow morning at 9:00am we will have our Fun Run! Come meet us at the Haviland Friends Church parking lot where we’ll start the race. Check out the route in the comments. Where there is a star that is where someone will be to throw powder, plus that is where you will turn to head to the Thresher Grounds. You will finish after you cross the bridge. We can’t wait to see everyone!

Below is the route for our Fall Fun Run! This run will take place this Saturday, October 10th, starting at 9:00am.

Runners and walkers will start out in the Haviland Friends Church Parking lot. From the church parking lot you will head north up Kingman to Bears Den. Then you will head east on Cherry for two blocks. From there you will go south down Wichita Avenue for two blocks, west on Chestnut for one, south on Pratt Avenue for two blocks before going east on Walnut. Walnut will be the final stretch of the race. The conclusion of the race will be when you cross over the bridge that is located on the Thresher Grounds leading up to where the old community garden was planted.

We will have people throwing powder at each of the corners you will need to turn at, so once you get a little extra color that will mean it is time to turn down the street. Remember to wear white or clothes you don't mind getting some colors on.

We are still looking for a few people who are interested in throwing powder. If that is something you would be willing to do, or if you know someone who would be a great help, please message us here so we can get you additional information.

This Friday, September 25th, is our 98th Annual Play Day for Haviland Grade School. Haviland Recreation will be sponsoring a new game. This game is called Noodle Knockout. Each class will compete amongst themselves to be the last person standing with a disc on their pool noodle. The winner will get a special prize from Haviland Recreation. K-8, bring your balancing A game! 💪 enjoy a quick video of the first graders trying out the game.
