At Child Guidance Resource Centers (CGRC), we are dedicated to empowering children, families, and communities through compassionate, evidence-based mental and behavioral health services. Child Guidance is a network of therapists, psychologists, psychiatrists, and more all working to provide your family with the best services available to fit your needs. Our work utilizes evidence-based treatments and structured therapy sessions in order to identify and reach family goals. Together, we can change the family dynamic for the better.

♾️💙 CGRC Spirit Week: Day 4 is all about Autism Awareness & Acceptance!

Today, our team filled CGRC with color for Autism Awareness Day, wearing rainbow, tie-dye and puzzle-inspired gear as we recognize and celebrate the unique strengths, perspectives and individuality of people with autism.

At CGRC, supporting children and families means meeting each person where they are, recognizing what makes them unique, and helping them thrive. 💚💛

Thank you to our team members who participated today and helped us celebrate the diversity that makes our CGRC community so special.

From beloved classics to newer favorites, our team stepped into character for Disney Day, dressing up to represent some of their favorite Disney characters! 🐭👑✨

We’ve spent this week celebrating 70 years of CGRC, but today was a fun reminder that no matter our age, there’s always room for a little imagination, laughter and magic. 💚💛

Participants will explore the four core DBT skill modules and learn flexible, person-centered ways to help clients strengthen emotional regulation, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness, and mindfulness. Through practical applications and case scenarios, attendees will gain tools they can incorporate into therapy sessions across diagnoses.

This training is intended for psychologists, behavioral health clinicians, school-based providers, graduate students, and others who support emotional well-being.

Sometimes, the most important thing we can offer someone is the reminder that they don’t have to face a difficult moment alone.

At Child Guidance Resource Centers, we believe in the power of connection, compassion, and access to mental and behavioral health support. As we end this month, we encourage everyone to check in with the people in their lives, make space for honest conversations, and help reduce the stigma around asking for help.
