As families prepare for the 2026–27 school year, CGRC is proud to bring back our CARE Initiative, Children’s Access to Resources and Essentials, to the children and families we serve! 💚

Thanks to the generosity of Rotary Club of Media, Electric, and to Crayons, CGRC’s Backpack Giveaway will provide backpacks and essential school supplies to help local children head back to school feeling prepared, confident, and ready to learn. Our partnership with The Rotary Club of Media is also expanding this support to include clothing for our Delaware County clients.

At CGRC, we know supporting a child’s well-being means caring for the whole child. A backpack filled with school essentials may seem simple, but for a family facing financial pressures, it can make a meaningful difference in a child’s education.

We are incredibly grateful to our community partners for helping us ensure children and families have access to the resources they need to thrive. 🧡

On September 17th, Child Guidance Resource Centers’ ATOD Prevention Program will offer the Strengthening Families 10-14 — an evidence-based program designed for families with children ages 10 to 14 residing in Delaware County.

This program equips parents and caregivers with effective communication strategies, strengthens family bonds, and helps reduce the likelihood of early substance use among youth.

Program Highlights:
✔️ No cost to participants
✔️ 7 weekly sessions
✔️ Interactive games, role-plays, and real-life scenarios
✔️ Begins September 17th, 2026
