So many of you have reached out over the past year to ask if there was anything you could do. The answer was always to pray and keep Jon in your thoughts. Jon is doing better, he's gained almost 25 pounds, he's doing more and more work with physical therapy.

Many of our prayers have been answered, Jon is here! So what we need now is to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars to make the future feasible. There's a list in the body of this link that will give you an idea of what it will take to bring him home.

A beautiful tribute from one Suzanne's sons-in-law.

This past week we lost our beloved “Suzie,” Liza’s mom, to an all-too-short battle with Pancreatic Cancer. As her obituary more clearly states, Sue was a force of nature and she will be forever missed dearly by her family and friends. We are certainly still reeling from this loss, trying to reckon with the absence of such a rock in our lives, but looking back and remembering her has invariably lead us to smiles and laughter, recounting the many memories and ways that she has blessed our lives. When I first met Sue, 23 years ago, I certainly could not have imagined the influence she would have on my life (and not just by introducing me to Liza that day as we both moved into our freshman year dorm). I have learned so much about true kindness, hard work, family, love and faith by being fortunate enough to become part of Sue’s family. We love you Suzie and will always take comfort in knowing that you remain with us, not just in memory, but in the many quiet, diligent and joyful ways that you’ve taught us to lead our lives.
