The high school stadium and track will be closed for routine maintenance and repair all day Thursday, July 23rd, starting at 7:00 AM. It will reopen again on Friday morning.

The District has received complimentary tickets for Havertown Night with the Reading Fightin Phils on Saturday, July 18! Tickets are available to Township residents on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.

Tickets can be picked up at the Oakmont Administration Building:

Monday - Thursday: 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Friday: 7:30 AM - 12:30 PM

Congratulations to Leon Smith on being named the 2026 Teacher of the Year!

Leon Smith, the 2026 National Teacher of the Year, serves Pennsylvania’s Haverford High School as an Advanced Placement (AP) United States history and AP African American studies teacher, emphasizing critical thinking, civic engagement and creating spaces for students to find their voices and flourish.

TODAY IS THE DAY! 2026 Twilight Run

This is more than a race. It’s a family-friendly celebration for everyone. Whether you’re a competitive runner, a casual walker, or cheering from the sidelines, there’s something for you:

A 1-mile Elementary Challenge for our youngest runners and a 5K race for those ready to push their pace.

It all takes place TODAY at Lynnewood Elementary School, starting at 4:30PM! That means you still have time to register! Same-day registrations from 1PM through 4:30PM!
