Today’s tournament spotlight is Kohai Ellayna!

Ellayna has been with us since she was a beginner student, and we’ve loved watching her grow throughout the years. She has now stepped into the role of Assistant to the Program Director at the dojo and is working toward earning her Joshu instructor title, hopefully this December!

She is always so much fun to watch at tournaments and during any performance she does. We can’t wait to see her compete at the Ocasio Classic!

Today’s countdown spotlight is Kohai Ellie!

This video shows an incredible full-circle moment in Ellie’s martial arts journey — from competing in our Ocasio tournaments as a beginner student, to now competing at outside tournaments as a 2nd Degree Black Belt!

Tournament experiences give our students opportunities to grow, challenge themselves, build confidence, and continue developing their skills throughout every stage of their martial arts journey.

Now, years later, we are so excited to watch Kohai Ellie step onto the floor at the Ocasio Classic and showcase how far she has come!
