We don’t always get to hear the hard work being done in that lesson room , but the connection between student and instructor is one of confidence building and skill enhanced, engagement and goal setting… leading students to enhance and enrich their lives through empowering themselves to achieve those goals and then set new goals to achieve on their journey on music creativity!

Saul Hudson, better known to the world as Slash, one of the most iconic and influential guitarists in rock history...🤘🔥

( if you didn’t know , Mike also plays in a GnR cover band) 🤘🏻
Slash….Born in Hampstead, London, and raised in Los Angeles, Slash rose to global fame after joining Guns N' Roses in 1985. 🎶
His unforgettable riffs, expressive solos, and signature top hat helped define the band's explosive sound on legendary albums such as Appetite for Destruction, Use Your Illusion I, and Use Your Illusion II. 🎶
Classics like Sweet Child O' Mine, Paradise City, Welcome to the Jungle, and November Rain remain timeless anthems that continue to inspire guitarists around the world...🎶
Following his departure from Guns N' Roses in the 1990s, Slash formed Slash's Snakepit before co-founding the supergroup Velvet Revolver alongside former Guns N' Roses bandmates Duff McKagan and Matt Sorum. 🤘🏻
Later, he launched a successful solo career with Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators, releasing several acclaimed albums before reuniting with Guns N' Roses in 2016.

Sweet Child O' Mine"
is the signature power ballad by American rock band Guns N' Roses
featured as the 9th on their groundbreaking 1987 debut studio album
Appetite for Destruction.
Released as a single in June 1988,
it became the band's only number-one hit on the US …..
Inspiration:
The song began as a joke/guitar exercise by guitarist Slash, but frontman Axl Rose was inspired to write lyrics for it as a love song dedicated to his then-girlfriend, Erin Everly…

Then the first release of the album as a CD …

This album hit me at 16 years old, and I began my inspiration to sing and sway side to side 😉… and is still a top 10 album for me…
Anyone else feel like this album stands solid in the 80s music history vault ?
