SPRING JAM IS TOMORROW, APRIL 17TH! From 11AM-1:30PM at the Haverhill campus quad and fitness center, come celebrate being a part of the Knight family and enjoy a beautiful spring day.

Spring Jam is open to ALL students, staff, and faculty - invite your friends!

If you're in Lawrence, you might give the shuttle a try to join in the fun!

There will be activities, food, helpful resources, giveaway items (like NECC t-shirts!), music, and more! 

Be sure to show your Wednesday Knight Pride by wearing your blue and gold or NECC gear.

           

Reminder: the college is closed on Monday, April 15h for Patriot’s Day. Have a lovely 3-day weekend!

The deadline is May 17th, so you have some time to complete the NECC General Scholarship application. If you have any questions, email [email protected]

Remember, you won't get the scholarships you don't apply for, so give it a chance!

The spring semester withdrawal deadline is coming up on Friday, April 12 and spring session 2 is Friday, April 19.  If you are having any academic or personal challenges, NOW is the time to seek guidance on how to succeed in your class(es) or decide if withdrawing from a class is the best choice for you. 

Withdrawing from a class is like dropping a class, but it will still appear on your college transcript.  However, instead of the current grade you have, it will appear as a “W” grade.  This means a student attempted a course but withdrew from the course for whatever reason.  The “W” grade does not affect a student’s GPA.  

There can be financial aid or academic consequences for withdrawing or not getting passing grades, so it is important to meet with a Financial Aid Counselor, and/or Academic Advisor if you are considering a withdrawal.

Join the Student Affairs Committee in an Open Forum on Monday, April 1st at 3:15pm on Zoom!

You will have your concerns, recommendations, and comments heard and discussed with committee members and other students.  Let’s make NECC the best it can be!

Calling all art and literary enthusiasts at NECC! Did you miss the fall submission deadline?

There’s one last chance to submit works of art, fiction, poetry, photography, etc. to this year’s award-winning NECC Parnassus Literary Magazine!

The new deadline is Sunday, April 14th!

Submissions do not have to be recent creations, and you can submit as many items as you'd like to give staff more to choose from.

NECC students, staff, and faculty can participate. Take a chance and share your creativity with the world!

Are you taking classes in Spring Session 2? Be sure to double-check your schedule as they start on Monday, March 18th.

If it's an in-person class, be sure to show up on the first day. If it's s an online class, sign into Blackboard on your first day and begin your coursework.
