Our teachers are back, the classrooms are coming together, and we’re getting very close to the start of a brand new school year at FSH.

This week, our teachers spent time thinking about the details that help children feel comfortable in their classrooms, from where materials are placed to how children see themselves and their families reflected in the space.

As we get ready to welcome our students back, we’re sharing a few thoughts for families on helping children ease into the new school year, find their rhythm, and begin to feel at home in their classrooms.

𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗛𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝘄𝘀! Patch recently featured our exciting transition into a dedicated early childhood education center.

Beginning with the 2026–2027 school year, FSH will focus its programs and resources on children ages one through kindergarten, building on 140 years of educational experience and a longstanding commitment to Quaker values.

Enrollment has already surpassed each of the totals for the past three years, with limited spaces still available.
