Our Mission for this week will be the Rooted and Wild Academy!

This spring has already been such a gift.🌿🐑🐄

We have welcomed 5 new lambs to our crew so far, and their mamas have done such a beautiful job delivering and caring for their little ones.

The children have especially loved being part of these moments, quietly observing, noticing, and learning in the most natural way. From watching the ewes care for their lambs to helping bottle feed calves, they are getting to experience what it means to care for animals in real life.

Today one child said, “It’s like we are watching a movie… let’s call it Life on the Farm,” and another suggested we might need to open a zoo, which honestly does not feel too far off at this point.😂

These are the kinds of experiences that stay with them—real life, real learning, and a whole lot of wonder 🤍

We are so incredibly grateful to The Barn for choosing Rooted + Wild Academy as a Mission Monday recipient 🤍

On April 20 from 4–9 PM, 10% of all sales will go directly toward supporting our students and families.

We’ll be hosting our upcoming campus tour soon, and if you’d like to be invited, now is the time to apply!

Submitting an application doesn’t guarantee enrollment, but it does start the process of being considered for acceptance into Rooted + Wild Academy.

We’ve had a big wave of interest and lots of emails from families over the past few weeks, and spots are filling quickly. At this point, we only have a handful of openings left on Mondays and possibly Thursdays.

We’re also so excited to be adding another wonderful teacher, which allows us to serve and pour into even more children this coming year! 🌿

We had some new faces join our school this week. Say hello to our new sheep! 🐑
We’ve been learning all about them, and it’s been so fun watching our lessons come to life as the kids observe these sweet faces up close. We’re excited to keep learning and growing together, especially with lambs expected this spring! 💛💐

As we move from Thanksgiving into Giving Tuesday, we’re pausing to thank God for the incredible blessings He’s poured out this year — including the students whose lives were changed through Christ-centered education. One of the best ways to express gratitude in this season is to invest in the next generation.
