Our Cafeteria Manager Mrs. Darlene Rush and our Cafeteria Assistant Theresa Groeling are a dynamic duo and their hard work and teamwork has been stellar all year long! Regardless of any obstacles they have faced , they rose to the challenge and their food quality and customer service for our students and staff never wavered creating a cafeteria atmosphere that was clean, safe, healthy, nurturing, inviting, and welcoming. Bravo and Kudos to our GAB Cafeteria Team who was recognized with two distinct honors of Certificates of Achievement across our school district. Principal Davis celebrates Mrs. Rush and Mrs . Groeling while also getting in a few poses with some of our other district colleagues and guests.

End of Year Flashback Moment: Our GAB Final End of Year Staff/Data ReviewMeeting and Staff Luncheon Celebration! Even with our school closing for good, as a staff we completed the mission with excellence and resilience. Shout out to Mission BBQ Restaurant making our luncheon a success! It was a great way to honor our heroes which are our teachers and staff! During a challenging and emotional school year, our staff understood the assignment which is always about the academic and personal success of our students. Our students, families, and staff finished strong and soared above the turbulence.

End of Year Flashback Moment: Pt 3 - More Pics!!!
The week following the last day of school, Our GAB School Students, Families, and Staff joined together for a Farewell Cookout Celebration on our school grounds to celebrate the end of an era and our 73 year old school legacy! Our students also got to sign the school rock acknowledging their great journey aboard Flight GAB as a Jet! It was truly "One Last Flight" as a GAB School Family!

The staff of GAB took the time on the last day of school to gift Principal Davis, Assistant Principal Banks, our Bookkeeper Victoria Jarvis , and 2nd grade teacher Mrs. Leah Moore with keepsakes for their dedication and service to our GAB school. Mrs. Jarvis and Mrs. Moore have worked and served at GAB for over 20 -25 years!

Final Farewells in our beloved GAB took place as the year came to an end. Our Student Jets who had left their mark worked on making their final marks by signing our school rock as they would be the last students to enter Graham A. Barden Elementary at the end of our school year!
