Meet our brand-new 8th grade team! 🎉 We’re so excited to see all the amazing things this team will accomplish together. They’re ready to lead, inspire, and make their mark as they leave their Havelock Legacy!

We are so excited for the first day of school tomorrow! Please check out the events for the upcoming week!

To start our legacy year off right here are some reminders for the first day:
-Students cannot be on campus before 8am. The doors will open at 8 am for students to enter the building. There is no adult supervision before then.
-Every student’s breakfast and lunch is free! This year breakfast will be eaten in the cafeteria.
-Students will be given a new copy of their schedule during their homeroom class.
-Please make sure all students know how they are getting home. If they are unsure about the bus number, ask Mrs. Mickler or Mrs. Leonhardt-Griffin tomorrow! Students riding buses make sure you are at your stop 15 mins before your scheduled time. Bus could be 15 mins before or 15 mins after the scheduled time.
-If any student needs help getting school supplies email Mrs. Mickler or Mrs. Leonhardt-Griffin.
-Class changes will not be considered until after the first 10 days of school. The only exception is students wanting to join band.
-Craven County policy does not allow students to use electronics during the school day. First time confiscated the student can pick it up at the end of the day. Every time after a parent or guardian must come and collect the device.

So excited for our open house this Wednesday from 3-6! We are encouraging Healthy Active Child time - if you can donate any outdoor sports equipment, it would be much appreciated! Donations will be accepted during open house and throughout the school year!
