Meet our first “Big Bird” of the Week!

With our new Phoenix mascot, we’re excited to recognize a staff member each week who goes above and beyond in bringing Menta’s Mission and Vision to life.

This week, we’re celebrating Mrs. Kelsey! She joined our team this year as an Elementary classroom teacher, and after just her first week, she has already exceeded expectations—implementing our program with passion while building strong relationships with her new students.

A huge THANK YOU to Spoon River College for hosting us August 10–14! 👏💙

Our staff spent the week training, learning, and collaborating as we prepared for another great school year.

A special shoutout to Mrs. Taylor and Mx. Ember for leading a Social Emotional Training that helped connect the dots on how the entire Menta program works together—from SEL and PBIS to trauma-informed practices and beyond.

Taking time to rest and recharge is an important part of staying healthy and ready to learn. Whether it's reading a book, taking a walk, practicing mindfulness, or simply enjoying a quiet moment, small breaks can make a big difference.

At The Menta Education Group, we use Social Emotional Learning teachings to advance our students in their academic careers and life success as well.
