That’s a wrap! Hawaii 2026 is in the books. I guess that means it is time to start planning for next year 🤔 a hui hou, O’ahu!

We had an amazing time yesterday! Using top notch e-bikes, we cruised up and down scenic routes rich in Polynesian and pop culture history. The best part was the care given by our guides. Cait () and Zander were beyond cool and knowledgeable. Cait even remembered us from our trip two years earlier!!

We did our leg exercise yesterday, today is all arms with surfing!! Stay tuned 😉

We’ve been having too much fun to keep up with posting… those bed times are coming early! We have moved to North Shore O’ahu where we learned about Polynesian culture and native botanicals, conquered fears, snorkeled, and are enjoying bonding as ‘ohana.

As much fun as we are having, we are also applying principles related to prone vs upright, arm vs leg, and hydrostatic effects of water on our ability to exercise.

We also collected our post intervention data for our research project and doing some leg exercise, biking through kualoa ranch. Follow us for more (be it delayed) updates.

Thursday took us all around the island! Some of us took our first underwater breaths today, putting to action our understanding of hyperbaric physiology with SCUBA!

We shared a wonderful evening being immersed in Polynesian culture of dance, music, and food at a luau on the North Shore.

So many memories were captured, stay tuned for more media ;) but first, we need a nap! More to come, ohana.

We put our breath hold training to the test today! We also experienced how maneuvering with our legs expends much less effort when compared to trying to swim with our arms…
