Training for Home Health Aides is designed for home care purposes. Students will undergo classroom instruction and practical application in the duties and responsibilities of a home health aide that ranges from personal care, Alzheimer’s care, assistance with daily living activities, long-term and short-term care for patients with chronic illnesses, and geriatric care. Personal Care Aides can become certified Home Health Aides to work in private home settings. Ideal School of Allied Health Care offers a training program for Personal Care Aides that apply their work experience and past educational background into becoming Home Health Aides. Phlebotomy Technician
Ideal School of Allied Health Care offers a 70-hour Phlebotomy Technician training course. The course will cover skilled lab training, infection control and safety, medical terminology, physiology, human anatomy, venipuncture equipment operation, blood collection procedures, and the standards in transport, handling and processing of collected specimens. The Electrocardiogram Technician training will prepare the student for a career set in various environments such as a cardiology center, a cardiologist’s clinic, a hospital’s cardiac unit, a telemetry unit or in an emergency response setting (ER).
