Federal Reserve Map Tag Challenge

Today in Banking & Finance I, students reviewed what they have been learning about the Federal Reserve System by participating in a fast-paced game of Map Tag!

The challenge was simple: be the first team to correctly identify and label all of the Federal Reserve Banks on the map. Students had to rely on what they have learned about the locations of the Federal Reserve Banks while working quickly and accurately with their teammates.

The two groups took very different approaches to accomplishing the same goal. It was interesting to see the different strategies, communication styles, and problem-solving approaches each team used. While speed was part of the challenge, accuracy and teamwork mattered just as much!

It was a fun way to turn a review activity into a little friendly competition while reinforcing an important part of our Banking & Finance curriculum. Learning doesn't always have to look like sitting in a textbook!

Superintendent Spotlight for August: These ladies keep us rolling smoothly on a day to day basis. They fulfill many roles, but more importantly, recognize when something needs to be done and get it done! They are chaos coordinators, problem solvers and keep us all in line. We couldn't do this without them!
