AS A CLASSROOM TEACHER:
Certified K-8 Regular & Special Education Teacher. K-3 Reading & Math Academic Coach/Literacy Coach in the Public School System. Beth is a CERTIFIED Orton-Gillingham teacher for struggling readers with dyslexia and dyslexic tendencies. Beth is skilled in building K-3 Math strategies through hands-on multi-sensory learning experiences. Beth has developed & implemented systematic strategies for developing writing skills & teaching writing across the curriculum. Beth has developed reading materials for K-3 teachers & tutors to meet the needs of children with the most extreme difficulties. Beth has written a word study program to enhance phonemic awareness, phonics, vocabulary, oral reading fluency, comprehension, & writing. Beth has extensive training and the experience necessary to teach strategies to help students gain success with Common Core Standards.
