Big shout-out to our AmeriCorps Graduate Residents who are wrapping up their service year with attendance at the Making Connections Conference! Through networking, professional learning, and collaboration with educators and leaders from across the state, they gained valuable experiences that will strengthen their impact as they step into their classrooms as new teachers this fall. We're excited to see how they put these insights into action in their schools and communities!

This week, we celebrate the educators who inspire, guide, and shape future generations every single day.

At our Center, we are especially grateful for the opportunity to support the next generation of teachers through student teaching placements, residencies, and apprenticeship pathways. We are proud to host aspiring educators from both traditional and nontraditional programs as they pursue undergraduate and graduate degrees in teaching through online and in-person learning experiences.

This week, we’re proud to spotlight our District partners👏
The Golden Eagle Teacher Apprenticeship is currently partnered with 32 school districts across the state! Through this partnership, MCARE apprentices at USM are gaining meaningful classroom experience while supporting students and educators.
🍎 Impact: 22 out of 32 partner districts have registered apprentices since our first cohort in Spring 2025.
