Today in Digital Media, students are exploring the history of self-portraits and getting hands-on with an old-school Polaroid 440!

They’re also taking their own selfies and learning how to edit their images in Adobe Lightroom. 📸

Our students are learning that every picture tells a story!

Our Early Childhood Education students put their skills to the test with the CDA Mystery Bag Challenge! ✨

Each group received random classroom materials and created a developmentally appropriate learning activity for young children. Students considered age, learning objectives, developmental areas, and safety before demonstrating their creations.

A great example of CTE students building solutions that make a difference!

Mrs. Camp’s Business, Marketing, and Finance students learned the importance of good workplace communication skills through a series of hands on activities that required students to be effective communicators with their teammates.

They had to build a pyramid out of cups using only string and a rubber band, draw identical pictures using only descriptions, and use teamwork to get a “helium stick” on the ground. Through lots of laughter, silliness, and frustration, they concluded that for a business venture to succeed, good communication is essential!
