Southern Miss parents and families, if your student lives on campus, they have a resident assistant (RA). This RA is a fellow student that lives on your student’s floor in their residence hall and is available to help them.

Southern Miss lingo time! SOAR is the online records system at Southern Miss. Your student can add/drop classes, view degree progress, accept/decline financial aid, and view grades on SOAR.

During Parent and Family Weekend, you can participate in various family-friendly campus activities from Friday, November 3, through Sunday, November 5. A full schedule is forthcoming, and we will continue to highlight the fun of the weekend as more of the program is finalized.
