🎉 The countdown to move-in has officially begun!
One of the sure signs that a new academic year is just around the corner? Our Resident Assistants and Resident Directors are back on campus preparing to welcome students home.
Before residence halls fill with activity, our incredible William Carey University School of Nursing faculty had the privilege of providing CPR training to our Residence Life team. These student leaders are often the first to respond when someone needs help, and we're proud to partner with them to help create a safer campus for every student.
📸 Swipe through to see highlights from the training and help us celebrate our two amazing teams working together to care for our Carey community!
👏 A huge thank you to our outstanding nursing faculty and staff for sharing their time, expertise, and passion, and to our dedicated RAs and RDs for investing in skills that could one day save a life.
Here's to another incredible year of learning, leadership, and serving others. ❤️🖤

🎓 Help us celebrate Amy Elizabeth Dykman, Class of 2025!
After earning her MSN in Nurse Education from Carey, she knew God was calling her to continue her journey by pursuing a Ph.D. in Nursing Education and Administration.
"The relationships I formed with professors and peers made all the difference. The faculty were always willing to help, and the monthly devotions were a constant reminder of God's unwavering love and purpose."
Amy was called to nursing to provide comfort and compassion during life's most difficult moments. She later discovered a passion for educating future nurses and preparing them to provide the kind of care every family deserves.
Since completing her Ph.D. in 2025, Amy has been elected Secretary for the Mississippi Organization for Associate Degree Nursing (MOADN) and received both the 2026 Professional Development Award and the 2026 Outstanding Faculty Poster Award from MOADN. Her doctoral education has opened new opportunities to expand her leadership, teaching, and impact in nursing education nationwide.
We're proud to celebrate graduates like Amy who are shaping the future of nursing through leadership, education, and service. ❤️🖤
