From Southern Miss TV to producing award-winning television, Southern Miss alumna Keisha Green recently took home a Southeast Emmy Award!

As a producer for The Best of Late Night with Rita Brent, Green managed the show's post-production process, including editing, timing, graphics, color correction and overall program flow. A graduate of the School of Media and Communication, she currently serves as a Creative Services Producer for Gray Media.

From the classroom to the television industry, Green's journey is a testament to what you can achieve with a Southern Miss education and what's possible when you pursue your dreams.

Today, our incoming Golden Eagles made their mark on campus during Painting of the Eagle Walk, starting their Southern Miss story with an experience that will stay with them long after the paint dries.

Over the past few days, we've been rolling out the gold carpet for our newest Golden Eagles and their families during Move-In!

Parents and alumni, what advice would you give to students settling into Southern Miss life?

We are proud to celebrate Southern Miss Gulf Blue Navigator for being recognized by TIME as one of America's Best Incubators and Accelerators.

Through the Gulf Blue Navigator accelerator, Southern Miss is helping marine technology startup companies from around the globe to scale and grow along the Mississippi Gulf Coast. The program continues to strengthen our region’s Blue Economy and position Mississippi as a leader in blue technology and innovation.
