The School of Polymer Science and Engineering is creating advanced materials and technologies, such as impact-resistant helmets, water quality sensing conductive polymers, bioinspired polymers for antibiotic and therapeutic applications, and corrosion-resistant coatings, that improve lives. Since its founding in 1970, the School has pursued excellence in undergraduate and graduate studies. Our graduates are making a difference in scientific and technical organizations throughout the world.
