The World Class Teaching Program at the University of Southern Mississippi provides support teachers through the National Board Certification process. Through summer workshops, study groups, and regular monthly meetings during the school year, teachers are provided with expert direction on the National Board Certification process. Teachers will spend time with a candidate support provider examining the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards through the lens of the 5 Core Propositions and the Architecture of Accomplished Teaching in order to be in the best possible position to provide the required evidence of accomplished teaching.
