We will be popping in over the next few weeks to call on alumni from each decade, all of which are rich with tradition and boast countless stories of your grit and spirit!

Today, Southern Miss announced the intention to add a new state-of-the-art science research facility on the Hattiesburg Campus.

We are grateful for the $30 million appropriation from the Mississippi Legislature, which will help make this transformative project possible. This investment will support research and discovery across the biological, biomedical, and environmental sciences, while strengthening our position as one of the nation’s leading research universities.

Tickets are $25 each (children under 12 are free). The event includes heavy appetizers, a cash bar, door prizes and opportunities to connect with the Southern Miss Alumni Association.
