🚨 😱THREE. IN. ONE. DAY. 🚨

MBA had ourselves a DAYYYYYY!!! 😭💚💛🎉

Please help us congratulate Raelee Myers, Lily Bonner & Rain Murphy 🥹🥹🥹

because all THREE received the news we’ve been waiting for:

PASSED. PASSED. PASSED. ✅✅✅

3 MBA graduates.
3 Mississippi State Board exams.
3 new LICENSED ESTHETICIANS.
1 DAY. 🎓✨

Listen… my instructor heart is FULL. 🥹

There is something special about watching students walk through our doors on their first day knowing very little about the industry, then watching everything begin to click…the terminology starts making sense, their hands become more confident, their consultations become more professional, their practical skills improve, and eventually they’re preparing for the exam that stands between student and licensed professional.

And then you get THREE PASS MESSAGES IN THE SAME DAY?!?!

Yeah… we’re celebrating LOUD over here! 😂🙌🏽

Raelee, Lily & Rain, every hour, every test, every correction, every clinic client, every study session and every moment you had to push yourselves has officially led here.

You did it.

But here’s what I hope our future students understand when they see posts like these:

We don’t celebrate State Board passes just because they make a cute Facebook post.

This is the GOAL.

We want you to enroll.
We want you to enjoy your experience.
We want you to fall in love with esthetics.

But most importantly, we want you to FINISH prepared.

Prepared to test.
Prepared to become licensed.
Prepared to work.
Prepared to serve clients.
Prepared to build something of your own if that’s your dream.

Today, three more MBA graduates moved from “I want to become an esthetician” to:

“I AM A LICENSED ESTHETICIAN.” 🥹✨

That’s a sentence that can change the direction of your life.

My babies, congratulations! Your school is PROUD of you. Now take everything you’ve learned, keep learning, protect your reputation, serve people well, and go make your names known in this industry.

And to the person who’s been watching these graduate posts thinking about enrolling…

👀 At some point you have to stop watching other people do it and decide it’s your turn, right!?

Maybe one the next State Board celebration we post will have YOUR name in it. 🤔💚💛

In the meantime 🙌

RAELEE MYERS — PASSED! ✅
LILY BONNER — PASSED! ✅
RAIN MURPHY — PASSED! ✅

3 FOR 3 IN ONE DAY! 🎉🎉🎉

“I PASSED!!!!! 💚💚💚”

There are certain texts as an instructor that you NEVER get tired of receiving. 🥹

And this one right here?!?!

Rain Murphy IS OFFICIALLY A LICENSED ESTHETICIAN!!! 🎉🎓✨

When I asked her how she felt, she said she was literally crying because she was so happy…
and THAT is the part people don’t always see when we post the pretty graduation pictures and State Board announcements.

Behind an “I PASSED!” are 600 hours.

It’s studying when you’re tired.
Practicing when you’re unsure.
Being corrected and trying again.
Learning an entirely new language of skin, ingredients, sanitation, treatments, anatomy, client care, laws and professionalism.

Then one day, you sit down for that State Board exam and everything you’ve worked for comes down to one word:

PASSED. 💚

Rain Murphy, this accomplishment is such a blessing, so deserved, and if you know the work you put in…so EXPECTED.

You completed exactly what you set out to do.

And now comes the exciting part…

YOU’RE THE AUTHOR OF WHAT’S NEXT. ✍🏽✨

Somewhere there is a treatment room you’ll make your own.

There are clients who haven’t met you yet who will one day request you by name.

There are people whose confidence you’ll help restore.

There are coworkers who will be grateful you became part of their team.

There are opportunities you don’t even know exist yet that this license just made possible.

This is where the career begins.

And to the future student reading our graduates’ posts thinking, “I want this to be me…”

It absolutely can be.

Eventually, the studying ends.
The hours are completed.
The nerves settle.
And if you take your training seriously and prepare for the moment…

One morning, YOU could be sending me the “I PASSED!!!!!” text. 🥹💚

Carlin, GO CELEBRATE! 🙌🏽 You earned this moment, and MBA is incredibly proud to officially welcome you into the profession.

Licensed Esthetician looks GOOD on you. 💚💛✨

🎉💚 SHE LEARNED. SHE FINISHED. SHE PASSED THE FIRST TRY. NOW SHE’S HIRED! 💚🎉

ANOTHER MBA graduate has officially earned those letters behind her name—LICENSED ESTHETICIAN! ✨

And this celebration feels especially good because shortly after graduation, she sent me a message that said:

“I may not have shown it a lot (I’m trying to be better at showing more emotion 🤣), but I really did enjoy/appreciate everything & I did learn a lot and can’t wait to get my career started. I will miss you and MBA.” 💚

Well, look at you now. 🥹

You didn’t have to be the “perfect student.”

You just had to keep learning.
Keep growing.
Keep showing up.
And ultimately…be prepared when it counted.

She went into her Mississippi State Board Exam and PASSED ON HER FIRST TRY! 👏🏽

And that career she said she couldn’t wait to start?

IT’S STARTING!

She’s officially beginning her first professional chapter at Just Teasin Salon, taking everything she learned in school and transitioning from student clinic to real clients, real experience, and a real career in the beauty industry. ✨

That’s the part of graduation that excites me most. The goal was never simply to finish 600 hours. The goal was to prepare you well enough to walk out of MBA, pass your licensing exam, and actually USE what you learned to create a life for yourself.

Growth isn’t always loud or perfect. Sometimes you don’t realize how much you’ve changed until you’re standing on the other side of something you once weren’t sure you could do. Love you for that Kaleigh 🫂

So yes, we received your thank-you message…

But now it’s our turn to say thank YOU for trusting MBA with such an important chapter of your life. 💚

I watched you learn what’s required.
I watched you mature on your own.
Most of all I watched your confidence grow.
… & now we all get to watch you become a professional in our industry!

Graduate ✔️
State Board PASSED FIRST TRY ✔️
Licensed Esthetician ✔️
FIRST ESTHETICS JOB ✔️

That’s what completing the REAL assignment looks like. 🎓✨

To the person reading this wondering whether esthetics could become a real career for you—our graduates are your proof. You don’t have to walk through our doors already knowing everything.

That’s what you come to school for.

Come willing to learn, willing to be corrected, willing to practice, and willing to finish.

We’ll meet you there. 💚💛

Congratulations, my beautiful baby! Enjoy every minute of this next chapter. Just Teasin Salon is getting an MBA girl, and we’re sending you out prepared! 🥹👏🏽

🚨🚨🚨 LAW UPDATE PER STATE BOARD 🚨🚨🚨

07/15/2026

🎉✨ CONGRATULATIONS TO ANOTHER FIRST-TIME STATE BOARD PASSER! ✨🎉

Today we’re celebrating an incredible graduate whose journey is a reminder that it’s never too late to re-invest in yourself and that adding another skill to your resume can completely change your future.

I say re-invest because before enrolling at Mississippi Beauty & Aesthetics Institute, she had already earned a college degree. But she understood something successful people never stop doing: they never stop learning.

She chose to add esthetics to her education, and from day one she approached the program with professionalism, curiosity, and a genuine desire to master the craft.

That dedication paid off.

JUST NOW she passed her Mississippi Esthetics State Board Exam on the FIRST TRY and officially became a Licensed Esthetician! 👏🏽✨

One of the highlights of her time at MBA was earning her class’s Best Lashes & Brows Award. If you ever saw her before-and-after transformations during clinic, you know exactly why. She had an eye for symmetry, detail, and enhancing each client’s natural beauty. Her work wasn’t just beautiful…it was intentional, refined, and consistently impressive.

As she looks toward the future, she may even relocate to another state. That’s actually a question we hear often from prospective students:

“If I become licensed in Mississippi, am I stuck working only in Mississippi?”

Absolutely not.

Many of our graduates relocate after earning their Mississippi license. Each state has its own licensing requirements, but your education doesn’t stay behind just because you cross state lines. Whether your future is here in Mississippi or somewhere across the country, your training becomes the foundation you build upon.

This graduate is proof that your career doesn’t have to fit inside one zip code. Your talent, your work ethic, and your education can take you wherever life leads.

Ashlyn Thompson thank you for trusting MBA with this chapter of your journey. We are incredibly proud of the professional you’ve become and excited to see where your career takes you next. We have no doubt that the same precision, creativity, and excellence you demonstrated in our clinic will become your signature wherever you practice.

To those considering esthetics, remember this: education creates options. Whether your goal is to stay close to home, relocate, specialize, or continue your education, this industry is full of opportunity for those willing to put in the work.

Congratulations on this amazing accomplishment! Your future is bright, I love how you love and show up for others in your life and and no matter the state this is only the beginning. 🍀
