Rock and Mineral Sale!!! Looking for Holiday gifts, the Southern Geological Society will hold a sale this Wednesday 16th and Thursday 17th from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm in the R.C. Cook Union Lobby. Crystals, gemstones, birthstones, fool's gold and much more.
Geography student presentations for the upcoming SEDAAG meetings will be presented on Friday, November 4th, at 1:00pm in WSB 229. These will be 'dry-run' presentations and everyone is welcome to attend and help support our student researchers.

In the summer of 2012, David Cochran (Geography) and Miranda Grieder (Architectural Engineering Technology) will co-teach London Inside Out as part of the Southern Miss British Studies Program. Focusing on built form and spatial design at scales ranging from a single building to the metropolitan region as a whole, this course will introduce students to London as an urban system and spatial construct on the landscape.
