Congratulations to Eric Platt and Lilian Hill who were awarded the Imogene Okes Award for Outstanding Research in Adult Education. The award was made on November 19, 2015 in Oklahoma City at the national conference for the American Association of Adult and Continuing Education.

Congratulations to Kate Gressett/Griffin (Ph.D. student in RESA), who won a grant from the Peggy Jean Connor Research Award competition! The Committee on Services and Resources for Women funds grants up to $1000 to support USM faculty, staff, and graduate students pursuing research or professional development activities directly focused on issues of importance to/for/about women. Kate’s proposed project relates to exploring the relationship between sexual assault and academic persistence in higher education.
