We're counting down the days for this year's Graduate Student Research Symposium! Our Symposium committee is hard at work getting the virtual platform ready for the participants and the USM community. We're very excited to launch our first virtual symposium!
To help count us down we're going to learn a little bit more about the namesake of our annual symposium... Who was Susan A. Siltanen? How was she part of the USM community? What impact did she leave?

This year has been quite a roller coaster, with quarantining and an overload of online classes, it seems like feeling burnt out is inevitable. GSS wants to remind you that it's ok to feel this way, but to try your best to stay focused on pushing through this semester.
Take a few minutes from your research/labs/readings this morning to enjoy your coffee and read this article by Emily Comeau...
