Cooper School of Missions and Ministry

REL 284: Intercultural Field Experience is offered every semester, allowing our students to gain first-hand experience on a short-term mission trip with their instructors! Our students will be going to Oaxaca, Mexico this fall!

This course is required for all Intercultural Studies majors and minors.

Every Fall, the Cooper School offers REL 273: Biblical Hermeneutics! This is the first course our missions and ministry majors take and is foundational for learning the steps of biblical interpretation! We're so excited for Dr. Bird and Dr. Golson to co-teach this class again!

REL 205: Applied Anthropology for Missions is offered every Fall semester! In this course, Ms. Clark teaches students how to understand and navigate different cultures for greater gospel impact.

Each Fall and Spring, we offer REL 203: The Baptist Heritage! In this course, Dr. Adams introduces the history, doctrine, and polity of Baptists and the Southern Baptist Convention, challenging students to understand and answer why they are Baptists.

This course is required for Christian Studies majors and minors and for all BME Aid recipients.
