We're excited for Dr. Glaze to teach REL 405: World Religions this fall! In this class, students will learn about major religions throughout the world and how to defend Christianity when they encounter these religions!
This class is required for Intercultural Studies majors and minors and may count as one of the required electives for Christian Studies majors.

This Fall, we're offering the REL 402: New Testament Exegesis with Dr. Crockett! In this course, students will engage in an in-depth study of the epistles to Colossians and Philemon, learning about the historical and literary context to provide a critical explanation of the texts.
This course meets the exegesis requirement for Christian Studies majors and is cross-listed with GRK 402: Greek Intensive for Biblical Languages minors.

Dr. Thomas McSwain oversees REL 397: Internship in Ministry in the Fall, Spring, or Summer terms! In this class, students partner with their local churches to gain practical experience in ministry while benefiting from the wisdom and advice of other seasoned ministers.
This classes is required for all Christian Studies majors.

We offer REL 324: Systematic Theology I every fall semester! In this course, students examine select foundational doctrines of the Christian faith from a systematic perspective, learning what the whole Bible teaches on each doctrine.
This course is required for all Christian Studies majors and meets the theology requirement for Intercultural Studies majors and Christian Studies minors.

REL 284: Intercultural Field Experience is offered every semester, allowing our students to gain first-hand experience on a short-term mission trip with their instructors! Our students will be going to Oaxaca, Mexico this fall!

Every Fall, the Cooper School offers REL 273: Biblical Hermeneutics! This is the first course our missions and ministry majors take and is foundational for learning the steps of biblical interpretation! We're so excited for Dr. Bird and Dr. Golson to co-teach this class again!
