Clay met Cash Moffett from Smackover, AR at a Carey Family event over the summer and loved the name of his hometown so much! When Cash started classes in Green Science this week, he brought a shirt to Clay!

William Carey University conferred the honorary Doctor of Humane Letters degree to Dr. Carl A. Shepherd this morning.
Dr. Shepherd has spent 66 years in the education field around south Mississippi- serving on our mathematics faculty for almost three decades until 2024.
Join us in celebrating this special occasion and recognizing Dr. Carl Shepherd’s outstanding contributions.
