Summit Academy has doubled up! We are SO excited to introduce our second new BCBA, Kara Coble!
Kara is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with more than 15 years of experience. Her work is grounded in the belief that all children have a voice and that meaningful progress begins with honoring that voice and understanding the individual behind the behavior. Kara is committed to promoting compassionate, person-centered practices that strengthen relationships, reduce barriers to success, and create environments where every child and family can thrive.

A huge thank you to Sam for leading our very first summer camp, Brick Builders! She stepped into the facilitator role and absolutely crushed it. Her creativity, flexibility, and positive energy helped make the week a success for our campers and staff alike.

Sam, your Initiative and Impact were on full display this week. Thank you for helping us start the summer strong!

As we wrap up the very first year of Summit Academy in partnership with ESU 9, we are feeling so grateful and so proud of how far our students have come. ❤️

Yesterday at our talent show, one of our students shared his drawings of characters he loves. His smile at the end says everything.

Progress can look different for our kids. Sometimes it’s grades. Sometimes it’s making it through a full school day. Sometimes it’s finding a way to communicate, sharing something they created, connecting with a peer, trying again after a hard moment, or realizing that who they are has an impact on the people around them.

This year, our students have grown in so many ways, not just academically, but in confidence, connection, and belonging. We are deeply thankful the districts and the families who trusted us with their children this year and allowed us to be part of their story.

Watching our students shine in their own ways has been one of the greatest gifts of this year. 🖤
