St. Rose School

October is the Month of the Rosary, instituted to honor our Blessed Mother in gratitude for the protection that she gives the Church in answer to the praying of the rosary by the faithful. Every October, Mrs. Sejat's third graders make their own rosaries, and Father Jeff was able to bless them on Friday.

All Saints Day is just around the corner. The first and second graders made our school's patroness to greet visitors by the mailbox during these fall months. St. Rose of Lima, pray for us!

Every Friday, Mrs. Sejat's and Mrs. Simmons' classes get together to buddy up to practice sight words and read stories. It's something both classrooms look forward to each week. It's a great way to foster positive attitudes towards reading and practice skills.

This month's club is Halloween crafts and we made festive fall owls. Back in the day, this was one of Principal Mr. Stephen L. Youngs favorite fall projects to see in the hallways!

We attended Adoration this afternoon. What a beautiful opportunity our students had to spend time just being with Jesus! ❤️🌹
