On behalf of the Child Development Council for Pooh Corner Preschool and Daycare, we want to state that as soon surveillance was reviewed to reveal the incident we immediately reported the incident to the police, DHHS, and terminated the employee involved.

As a center, we are very sorry this has happened. We will continue to work with proper authorities throughout the process.

The center is currently in between executive directors and has been prior to the incident . However we take our responsibility of caring for the children very seriously. We have put a policy in place moving forward that every incident reported will be reviewed on film as proof of what is happening.

We have served the community for over 50 years and have worked hard to provide a safe place for children to learn and grow. We will continue to strive to provide the best environment possible for the children under our care.
