The Department is fortunate to have an endowment that helps us fund student research projects, as all majors in the department conduct a significant senior research project. The Dr. Robert and Rogene Johnston Endowed Chemistry Fund was established in memory of the late Dr. Johnston, a 1943 graduate and Chemistry major at Hastings College. We also have naming opportunities available for labs and of

Sarah Jones, Student Services Coordinator for UNMC, College of Nursing - Kearney will be on campus Wednesday, February 2 from 12:00 - 2:00pm to meet with students interested in learning more about programs at UNMC. UNMC has five campuses across the state of Nebraska: Omaha, Lincoln, Norfolk, Kearney and Scottsbluff. Each campus offers a traditional 2-yr BSN program as well as a 1-yr accelerated program for those who have or will complete a bachelor's degree prior to matriculation.
