At Noah’s Ark Preschool, we offer exactly what your child needs to thrive!
Our programs are designed specifically for 3 and 4-year-olds. We provide a developmentally appropriate, play-based curriculum with a strong nature focus. Children learn and grow through authentic, hands-on experiences in both our indoor and outdoor environments.
Our teachers thoughtfully plan activities based on students’ interests and developmental needs, fostering curiosity, independence, and confidence. With a maximum class size of 16 students and both a lead teacher and assistant teacher in every class class, we maintain a low 8:1 ratio in our 4’s class, a ratio of 6:1 in the Young 4’s, and in the 3’s classes a 5:1 ratio. This allows us to build meaningful relationships and provide personalized attention for every child.

Our Young 5’s program is designed specifically for four & ½ to five-year-olds and meets four days a week. We provide a developmentally appropriate, play-based curriculum with a strong nature focus. Children learn and grow through authentic, hands-on experiences in both our indoor and outdoor environments.
Our teachers thoughtfully plan activities based on students’ interests and developmental needs, fostering curiosity, independence, and confidence. Noah’s Ark Preschool Job Posting: (Please Share)
-Noah’s Ark has been serving preschoolers in Barry County for 28 years. We are a September-May program that is play based, nature focused, and God & child led.
Preschool Lead Teacher:
-We are searching for a lead teacher for our 3’s and Young 4’s classes. Applicants must have one of the following:
*Teaching certificate with Early Childhood Endorsement or undergraduate/graduate degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development is desired
*Associates Degree in Early Childhood Development or valid Child Development Associate Credential (CDA) with 480 hours of experience in an early childhood setting is acceptable
*Or a combination of a degree in a related field and relevant experience may be considered.
Partial Job Description:
-Create an atmosphere that is conductive to learning, exploration, and discovery through planned and child-led experiences, documented in lesson plans.
-Provide leadership that contributes to social, emotional, cognitive, physical, and spiritual growth of each child; including positive child management techniques. -Implement nature and outdoor experiences in the everyday classroom routines. -Understand and follow childcare licensing rules and guidelines.

Noah’s Ark Preschool is located inside the First Presbyterian Church of Hastings at 405 N. M-37 HWY in Hastings, MI. We are blessed to have both indoor and outdoor classrooms at the church.

Noah's Ark Preschool
Taking children outside in the winter has numerous benefits, including boosting their immune system and enhancing physical development. Playing in the snow adds creativity and problem solving skills and improves mood by accessing natural sunlight. In addition, it teaches resilience by adapting to challenging weather conditions. With adult guidance children learn self-help skills when putting on appropriate gear to stay warm and comfortable outside!
