Did you know Nebraska is a powerhouse for soybean farming? Our 4th-grade students found out firsthand when the Nebraska Soybean Board visits Longfellow!

At Longfellow, we celebrate Digital Citizenship Week by teaching students how to be safe, responsible, and respectful online!

Here are some Leopards Tips for being safe online:
🛑 Think before you click--Ask yourself: Is this safe? Is it kind? Is it true?
🔒 Keep personal info private--Never share your address, phone number, password, or school info online.
💬 Be kind online--Treat people on screens the same way you’d treat them face-to-face.
🧠 Check before you share--Not everything online is true—look for trusted sources.
📱 Use screen time wisely--Balance online time with play, reading, and family time.
🚨 Tell a trusted adult--If something online makes you uncomfortable or confused, speak up right away.
🌟 Leave a positive digital footprint--Post things that make you proud and represent the best version of you.
