Little Beginnings Learning Center Little Beginnings Learning Center is a Christian childcare facility and has provided quality care in Hastings, MN since 1999.

Little Beginnings Learning Center is a Christian childcare and preschool dedicated to developing deep roots in appreciation for the nature around us, family togetherness, individual discoveries, and rich hands-on learning experiences. Our caring staff provide age-appropriate play and learning opportunities for children ages 6 weeks to five years, with school age care in the summer months. We pride ourselves in being accredited through NAEYC and receiving the highest rating through Parent Aware. We would love for you to come tour our center and see if Little Beginnings Learning Center would be a great choice for your family and your child!

❤️ We were so grateful to welcome our friend Tynielle back to Little Beginnings for Indigenous Peoples’ Day! She shared so much of her culture with us, including a buffalo hide passed down from her father, handmade items, traditional clothing and jewelry, beautifully dressed traditional dolls, and an eagle feather. She even taught our children a few words in the Dakota language!

We are thankful for Tynielle’s kindness and generosity in sharing these meaningful pieces of her culture with our children. These experiences give our little learners the opportunity to explore traditions, appreciate cultural differences, and learn about the people and stories that make our world so rich. Thank you, Tynielle, for another special visit! ❤️🌎

🚨 ONE PRE-K SPOT JUST OPENED UP! 🚨

Who says Pre-K has to happen at a desk? Not us. 🌿

At Little Beginnings, our Pre-K children learn through hands-on experiences, time outside, nature exploration, creativity, conversation, and plenty of opportunities to ask questions and follow their curiosity.

Sometimes learning looks like journaling in the grass. Sometimes it looks like exploring the woods, getting messy in the garden, working together with friends, or discovering something completely unexpected.

We believe Pre-K should give children the space to move, wonder, explore, create, and grow — while building the skills and confidence they’ll carry with them into kindergarten and beyond.

And right now, we have ONE full-time spot available.
