Luna’s been a joy & has excelled at everything I’ve asked as her training/ learning has progressed. She’s a natural tracking cattle for the first time. I‘m looking forward to great things with Luna & her owner Hugo who is a talented roper. Thank you to all my horse training clients💕

Ember update! 13 year old standardbred retired cart horse based on her tattoo. Sadly discarded like a worn out pair of shoes. Amy adopted her 3 months ago. Ember was extremely underweight, sore all over & understandably grumpy & skittish. Amazing what good groceries, training & care can do for a horse.
She’s becoming quite the gem! Amy’s daughter Emma riding her this evening❤️. She still has a ways to go but is doing well under saddle, on the trails & in the arena being ridden in a halter.

Luna took part today in a Versatility Ranch Horse Clinic. An hour in the trailer, away from home, & seeing cows for the very first time. She did extremely well!! She‘s all about the cows…more highlights to come. Thank you Northern Lights Versatility Ranch Horse Association for a great clinic today.

Luna’s first adventure away from home. She handled the trails well! The hills were a little challenging. She‘s used to flat terrain so she had to learn to balance while walking up and down some steep hills.

Luna‘s journey towards all around ranch -rope horse continues. Willingly loading into an empty trailer walking to the front spot while remaining confident & relaxed is a win. This week we’ve started trailering and our first destination is planned later this week!
At 9 years old, Emma may be our smallest volunteer but she’s sure confident with the biggest horse at our stable whose 17+ hands. Emma arrives early mornings on the weekends & is still energetically helping with evening chores! We‘re fortunate to have Emma and some other young ladies volunteering & growing up with horses. A big thank you to Emma’s mom Amy who does so much for our barn: quoting Amy “building community“❤️
